By Following up on the poster and images released a few days ago, the first trailer for Parkland takes us inside Parkland Hospital during JFK’s assassination. Sure the assassination has been mined to death before, but I’m hoping that a different focus (coupled with loads of talented actors like Billy Bob Thornton, Jackie Earle Haley, Ron Livingston and even Zac Efron) will spark some life into the admittedly tired subject. And given Parkland hits during the winter months, expect a big Oscar pull if everything’s successful.
