First trailer for new Digimon reboot revealed

Digimon, digital  monsters, Digimon are the champions!

If this song is now stuck in your head all day you grew up with a  show that competed with Pokemon called Digimon. Digimon, much like Pokemon, involved kids with monsters as friends except these were digital creatures and the object wasn’t to “catch em’ all” or battle. Every season had a plot which usually involved saving the Digital World or our world from some evil threat. Now all these years later the very first season is getting rebooted and it looks amazing. The first trailer made its debut this week and all the  original 8 kids we knew and loved are back in a whole new way.

The show will first be broadcast in Japan beginning on April 5th. It’s hard to believe its been 20 years since this show first hit the airwaves. What I am curious about is whether we will get an English dub of the series at some point. Yes, Digimon had some questionable seasons back in the day but it’s nice to see them returning to their roots with Tai, Sora, Matt, and the gang. The animation has 100% been revamped along with some of the characters getting some slight wardrobe makeovers. Good job Toei Animation. Only a month to go Digimon fans!
