Flix for (not so) Short: Cry Baby Lane

Here’s something you don’t see everyday. Cry Baby Lane is actually a made for TV movie for Nickelodeon back in 2000. The film was never rebroadcast, thanks to complaints from parents, who deemed it too disturbing. Someone found a self-taped VHS copy of the film’s first and only airing and, in good Internet Warrior fashion, put it on Youtube. I haven’t had time to watch the whole thing, but the premise is pretty freaky. A pair of conjoined twins, one evil and one good, died, were sawed in half, and buried separately. In true Ernest Scared Stupid fashion, a bunch of kids inadvertently raise the evil twin from the dead. That’s some Insidious-level creepifying, right there. I intend to watch this in full as soon as I can.
