By We’ve showcased two pieces by Evan Seitz in the last month and a half: ABCinema and 123Film. Both were essentially name-that-movie games using letters and numbers to visually represent a film whose title corresponds to said letters and numbers.
Here is another video in that vein, this time by French animator/designer La Pompadour. For each letter of the alphabet, there is a corresponding film/television monster. Now, La Pompadour gets a bit too permissive with the term “monster” in a few cases, but the work here is pretty darn keen. I was able to name all of them except for one, and that one is probably something obvious that I’m just overthinking. How many can you guys name?
