Flix for Short: Dumb Ways to Die

Dumb Ways to Die, animated by Julian Frost and sung Emily Lubitz (song written by John Mescall and Ollie McGill), is the most catchy yet disturbing thing you’ll probably ever sing aloud. Seriously, try singing the lyrics out loud in a public place and notice how many awkward side glances you get (you should probably also put on pants).

Created as a public service announcement for Australia’s Melbourne Railways, Dumb Ways to Die is a song which features wonderfully animated little buggers with the worst luck. While hilarious, it did teach me a few things so I hope others learn something as well. At the very least, I won’t be using dryers as hiding places anymore.
