Flix for Short: Garlan Hulse: Where Potential Lives

In the same vein as the cool retro marketing Wreck-It Ralph had done for its fictional Fix-It Felix Jr. game, Rich Moore has made a short “documentary” to celebrate WIR‘s release on home video this past week. Garlan Hulse: Where Potential Lives is a rif off of The King of Kong (that one documentary about the Donkey Kong champion) in which Garlan is a maladjusted adult who was once the best at Fix-It Felix Jr.

Although the film clocks in at least a half hour, it’s hard to not appreciate the amount of effort thrown in to what is essentially a joke. The film itself is nothing to scoff at as it provides plenty of hilarity. Anyway, it’s a good way to spend your weekend while you wait for all of that awesome SXSW coverage coming our way.
