Michel Hazanavicius’s The Artist was such a charming movie, and it was actually one of my favorites from last year. A lot of that charm is attributable to the film’s star, Jean Dujardin. He’s got that open, expressive face and that winning smile that reminds me of the leading men of old.
But if he wants to make it big in the Hollywood pictures, he’s gotta go the way of other European actors and play a villain. At least that’s the set up for this Funny or Die video, which features Dujardin auditioning for various bad guy roles. To say anything else would give away a couple keen gags.
