Flix for Short: Mockingbird

The next Drew Daywalt short film for Halloween Flix-for-Short-a-thon is actually written by Drew but directed by his wife, Marichelle. It’s called Mockingbird, which is also brief but chilling. Again, it’s all about how a tension mounts quickly but with remarkable effectiveness. Like Drew, Marichelle knows how to ratchet up the dread from an unexpected moment.

Marichelle also directed the short The Many Doors of Albert Whale from a script written by Drew. I’ve included that short after the cut.
