Flix for Short: The Joy of Books

Stop motion is one of those things that everyone can do, but not everyone can do well. It’s really hard to get a smooth, realistic motion with the medium, especially on a larger scale. When you have a huge set with lots of moving parts, it’s easy to forget a detail. That’s why it’s so awesome when you see an enormous set with hundreds of moving parts that manages to be completely perfect.

The animation itself is pretty simple, but the scale of the project is incredible. Changing colors! Flipping! Dancing books! The Joy of Books is one of those happy, colorful projects that really shows how animation can be just plain fun.
