Do you need a good dose of cute today? I think you do. The Little Red Plane is about a boy and his cat who travel around in their plane to deliver packages. The really impressive thing is that the backgrounds and puppets are mostly knit. Do you know how long that would take? Because it would take forever. I especially love the way the ground uses different stitches to represent fields. It’s lovely.
Also impressive is that the animator, Charlotte Blacker, made this in her final year of university, so she and her team of knitters somehow managed to pump out all that work during a very busy time. That is quite the feat!
