In the same manner, terrible movies tend to make a buttload of cash, giving the film’s creators some sort of vindication for pooping on our chests with their filth. Of course, some can find merit in these “bad†films, with the majority of the so-called “so bad, they’re good†films ranking on a large number of cult classic lists.
Every year, there are always a handful of films that rate at the bottom of our yearly lists. Did it have wooden acting or an absurd script? Was the director full of crap? Were the special effects not as special as they claimed to be? Did Nicolas Cage headline? Whatever the case may be, we can’t wade through the fun and awesome wave pool without first venturing through the pee-infested waters. Allow me to present Flixist’s Worst Film of 2010…

…Yogi Bear! As I mentioned in my review of the film, it's devoid of soul and energy. I specifically said that in reference to the acting, but it really sums the whole experience up. Of course, terrible film adaptations rounded up the runner-up spots, with Jonah Hex and Tim Burton's horrendous take on Alice in Wonderland sharing the second place spot. Well, some might say second place is the first loser, but the statement couldn't be more true for our nominees.
