Fox delivers release date change for The Counselor

Fox has been a bit busy dropping some release dates and rearranging one. The first news is that Ridley Scott’s The Counselor, which was written by Cormac McCarthy, has been moved from a November, 2012, release to an October 25th one. This means that Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz can wow us a bit earler… assuming it’s good.

Then we have three release dates. Frankenstein, which may star Daniel Radcliffe, is appropriately coming to us around Halloween on October 17, 2014. Book of Life, an animated film from Guillermo Del Toro about the Day of the Dead, is hitting on October 3, 2014, and should be interesting. Finally, Alvin and the Chipmunks 4 will be hitting December 11 of 2014.

I’m surprised they that Fox would put Frankenstein and Chipmunks 4 in the same release. After all, you don’t want to remind people that you can kill monstrosities that should have never existed with fire.
