With the cast and subject matter I think we were all thinking The Judge was going to be something special, but coming out of TIFF its good reviews were few and far between. A little concerning, for sure, but this new international trailer makes it look at least a bit thrilling if not heart warming. The performances have to be good at least.
With an October 10 release date I think the studio realized they might not have magic with this one either. That’s a bit early to be contending for nominations seriously, but who knows maybe one last chance for Robert Duvall?
