Ghost Rider is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Four

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I’ve kept up with Agents of SHIELD. I had watched four episodes back in season one before I gave up, but I’ve been hearing that it got interesting around season two. But the fourth season most likely has the show’s biggest draw yet.

When the rights to Blade, Ghost Rider, Punisher and Daredevil reverted back to Marvel, I’ve been anxious to find out what they’d do with the characters. I had been hoping for Ghost Rider Netflix series, so finding out the character is coming to Agents of SHIELD next season is a bit of a bummer.

To distance the newest version of the character from the famous Nic Cage portrayal, the newest Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes (who lives in LA fighting crime with a flaming Charger) will join the show and will be portrayed by Gabriel Luna (True Detective). I mean, if you gotta bring Ghost Rider in an attempt to bring more viewers I’m glad it’s at least the Latino version.

Agents of SHIELD Season four premieres September 10th on ABC.
