By Alan Dale, whom you may remember as the indomitable Charles Widmore from lauded television show LOST, has recently been added in to David Fincher’s Hollywood adaption of the Swedish movie trilogy The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. This is interesting to note, since the movie is scheduled to release on December 21st, 2011. A release literally months away and Fincher’s adding in a whole new character and/or actor? Huh.
We’ll just have to wait and see what kind of an impact – if any – this decision has on the final movie. As a huuuge LOST fan, I’m excited to see Dale again, as he usually does a wonderful job. He is rumored to be playing a “detective nearing retirement” in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
