Global James Bond day announced

In house everyday is James Bond day, but I understand that not everyone keeps Bond in their heart year round. For them there is Global James Bond day on Oct. 5. The completely made up holiday celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of Dr. No. The day will be marked by the release of a new Bond documentary, Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, a charity auction at Christies, a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, a global survey to discover the favorite Bond film by country, a Music of Bond night in Los Angeles, and an exhibition, “Designing 007: 50 Years of Bond Style,” at TIFF in Toronto.

That is a lot of James Bond. Of course this also coincides with the release of Bond 50, the box set of all the Bond films and comes just in time to really start ramping up the advertising for Skyfall. Whatever the reason its a good day to be a Bond fan.

Now to remember where I stored my millions of dollars so I can bid on things at a Christie’s auction.
