Guillermo del Toro wants Justice League Dark (basically)

Even though Guillermo del Toro is busy doing post-production on Pacific Rim, he’s got another project in sight that he’s enthusiastic about. The project is called Heaven Sent, which unites the magical/supernatural characters of the DC Universe in one big adventure. Some possible characters for the film: Deadman, The Spectre, Swamp Thing, John Constantine, Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, and Etrigan the Demon.

Essentially, Guillermo del Toro wants to do Justice League Dark (superior in every way to Justice League Crunch and Justice League with Almonds). No word on Shade the Changing Man making an appearance since it’s all in planning stages right now. Latino Review says Warner Bros. will need to clear the rights on the characters before anything can get moving. I secretly hope for Doctor Fate and Kid Eternity appearances as well.

If Guillermo del Toro is somewhere within shouting distance, hear my plea: bring The Shadowpact into this. You know Detective Chimp would rock on the big screen, and ditto Ragman and Blue Devil. Heck, bring in Doctor Occult and the Haunted Tank for kicks.
