In Demolition Man, all of the restaurants are Taco Bell. In contemporary film music, almost all movies are scored by Hans Zimmer. Therefore, Hans Zimmer is almost the Taco Bell of film scores. (Don’t question my logical reasoning. I went to college, bucko.)

Hans “Taco BWAAAAM” Zimmer is going on tour in 2017, tackling 28 cities around the world from April to June. Zimmer will travel with 22 musicians, collaborating with local orchestras in each city. Zimmer also teases special guest performances from talented friends. My hope: Christian Bale dressed as Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp dressed as Batman, and Leonard DiCaprio dressed as Mufasa, all three of them yelling “BWAAAAAAHMMM” into megaphones.

In all seriousness, Hans Zimmer’s filmography/discography is impressive. Here is a partial list of notable works:

  • Rain Man
  • Driving Miss Daisy
  • Backdraft
  • The Lion King
  • The Thin Red Line
  • Gladiator
  • The Pirates of the Caribbean films
  • Christopher Nolan’s Batman films
  • The Simpsons Movie
  • Kung Fu Panda
  • Inception
  • Man of Steel
  • 12 Years a Slave
  • Interstellar
