By So besides James Marsden being casted recently for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, it now seems that Harrison Ford is now joining the cast as “a legendary anchor.” It seems that both director Adam McKay and producer Judd Apatow might have liked Ford’s work in the 2010 comedy Morning Glory where he also played a TV news personality.
It’ll be interesting if how big of a role Ford will be playing in this. Keeping in mind, he hasn’t had a hit — I’m not including Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as a hit for him — in a long time. With this in the pipeline, Ender’s Game, the Jackie Robinson film 42, and possibly Star Wars: Episode VII, Harrison Ford may be able to revitalize his name again.
