Harrison Ford’s injury shouldn’t delay Star Wars: Episode VII

As we all know geriatric Han Solo is not as lithe as young Han Solo and so when that damn Millennium Falcon door fell Harrison Ford got injured, reportedly breaking his ankle and having some hip issues. Now that it’s been a few days and Ford is doing fine in a hospital in London we can all discuss what we were all thinking: Is this going to delay Star Wars: Episode VII.

A source says no according the Mirror: “The initial day or two after the accident it was hard to move things around but now we have had more time we can juggle things, bring some scenes forward and push others back. There are lots of other actors in the movie so it is not a disaster. We are still confident the film can stay on schedule. At the moment it looks like Harrison is going to be off set for 6-8 weeks but the main priority is making sure he is OK.”

So everyone is safe, the film is still shooting as we speak and Millennium Falcon is still good at kicking ass. Hopefully it keeps the rest of its wrath held back for fighting the dark side.
