By While we haven’t seen Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye since The Avengers, it seems the (handsome) archer won’t stay as silent in Marvel’s phase 3, as he is now set to appear in Captain America: Civil War.
So… a quick recap of who we will see in the third Captain America movie: Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), and now, Hawkeye. Oh, and we may very well see Spider-Man as well. Hey, Mr. Marvel boss people, can I suggest you just change the title to The Avengers: Captain America and co: Civil War?
There’s no information on his role in the movie as of yet, and I must confess I know nothing about this story arc from the comics, but it’s safe to assume we can make a few predictions when The Avengers: Age of Ultron premiers May 1, 2015.
Captain America: Civil War sees the Russo Brothers return to direct, and is scheduled to premiere May 6, 2016.
