Here are you 2014 Oscar winners

The Academy Awards have once again come and gone. Considering they ran about 30 minutes late it’s quite possible you fell asleep before they were over, and since Flixist is your only source of movie news (right?) we thought it best to let you know what won. Below you’ll find them in easy to digest list form. Once you’ve scrolled through let us know what you think?

I’m of the opinion that they actually came out pretty well. This is one of the rare years where I can’t argue too much with any win. While I would have liked to see Gravity take the best picture award I can understand giving it Best Director and 12 Years a Slave best picture. I’m also not surprised American Hustle got shut out. It just wasn’t as great as its fellow contenders. As predicted Matthew McCoughnahey gave an awesome speech and Ellen was of course endearing and nowhere near as boundary pushing as the previous hosts.
