By Despite what some may say (and even more might want), the Academy Awards are a huge deal. It’s a club for old white men, sure, but the choices they make absolutely affect what projects studios do and don’t greenlight going forward. And for that reason, all we can do is hope that the old white men didn’t mess it up too badly. My prediction? They definitely will.
