Here’s the US Trailer for Ghibli’s When Marnie Was There

Since Studio Ghibli is still stuck in purgatory, and haven’t announced a new feature since all of that financial weirdness reared its ugly head some time ago, When Marnie Was There might possibly be the studio’s final film. With persistent rumors that the studio may be shutting its doors, this English dub trailer for When Marnie Was There carries quite a bit of mournful weight. 

The English cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Kieran Shipka, Kathy Bates, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara, John C. Reilly, and Vanessa Williams. When Marnie Was There gets a limited release May 22 before expanding to theaters later.
