Hobbiton comes to life… again

0

When the Lord of the Rings was made the filmmakers created an entire Hobbiton for the movie, spending plenty of money and then once the films were done letting it go to rot. Now that they’re making a Hobbit move they need a Hobbiton again. Sadly, the old one was overrun by sheep in one of the most dramatic coups of the year. Thankfully, movie companies have money and they’re just rebuilding the tiny town again somewhere else.

Total Film has our first peak at the now Hobbiton and it looks like… the old Hobbiton. I suppose that works pretty well. Doesn’t really make me anymore excited for the movie.

In all honesty I’m having trouble getting pumped up for this. Jumping from The Lord of the Rings trilogy to the The Hobbit is like getting laid one night and then the next week dry humping. Even if it wasn’t, does anyone else feel like the Tolkien excitement has worn off?
