IFC gets US release rights for Wrecked starring Adrien Brody

Adrien Brody is pretty cool. And now you can watch him be horribly injured and bloody climbing up from a ravine. That’s part of the premise behind Wrecked, a psychological thriller directed by Michael Greenspan about a man who wakes up from a car crash with no memory of how he got there. He must fill in the pieces about the violent accident and what happened before by finding clues relating to a bloody bank robbery. I bet the quick thinkers among you are already putting together the pieces from there.

Deadline reports that IFC Midnight, one of IFC’s genre labels, has picked up the film for US distribution. The company will release it next spring. In the meantime, feel free to check out the trailer after the break, which seems to spell out the entire movie. Don’t you love knowing all the plot points ahead of time?

I’ll admit, posting this news was just an excuse to put Brodyquest in the header.
