Here is the international trailer for The Congress, the new film from Ari Folman (Waltz with Basir). This movie is loosely based on the novel The Futurological Congress by Stanislaw Lem (the author of Solaris) and stars Robin Wright, Harvey Keitel, Jon Hamm, and Paul Giamatti.
Also, it looks like an awesome, crazy-ass European comic in a good way. Here’s a synopsis.
An aging, out-of-work actress accepts one last job, though the consequences of her decision affect her in ways she didn’t consider.
The Congress will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. I’m really looking forward to seeing this when it hits theaters.
