By I don’t really like saying Interstellar is Nolan’s “longest film yet,” because it might be a trap for his future films to come. What if he just gradually makes his films longer and longer with each entry? Will each film be his “longest yet” until we’re sick and tired of reading about his run times? Regardless, Interstellar (which we’re starting to learn more and more about) is 169 minutes long according to The Film Stage. For the record, The Dark Knight Rises (his previously longest film) was 165 minutes.
I hope all that time is worth it. Then again, a longer film equals more McConaughey and who wouldn’t want that. Interstellar releases November 7th. Here’s a bunch of posters we haven’t featured before.
