By While the viral marketing for 2013’s Robocop remake has started up in full, the question on everyone’s mind is “What will Robocop look like?” Well, we may have just received our first look. Thanks to our friends over at Geekscape, we now have a good idea of what to expect from the new armor. First impressions? Sleek, just like the rest of the OmniCorp line of products. But it looks like the power-suit from Crysis, and that’s hardly iconic (It’s all about that dome/visor!). I’m really hoping that those renderings are earlier drafts on the design. One thing struck me recently about this remake. “What if it’s like the Total Recall remake?” I’m starting to get that kind of vibe from everything I’ve seen so far, and I’m not sure it’s a good thing. Hopefully all involved realize that sleek modernism isn’t enough to make a classic story classic again.
