Ithaca Fantastik is this week (November 9-13)

Ithaca Fantastik starts this Wednesday, November 9th up in Ithaca, New York. The film festival is a showcase of genre movies from all over the world. This year’s festival is bookended by two major Korean release. On opening night, festival goers can see Park Chan-Wook’s The Handmaiden. On closing night, the festival will screen Yeon Sang-Ho’s zombie film Train to Busan.

In addition to new horror, science fiction, fantasy, thriller, and action films, Ithaca Fantastik will have retrospective screenings of The Howling, Wolfen, Altered States, and Aliens.

While Flixist won’t be upstate for the festival in-person, we will have a few reviews of films screening during the long weekend. Check back for those reviews in the coming days.
