J.K. Rowling approves Deathly Hallows Part 2 change

/Film is reporting that J.K. Rowling has ok’d a change to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Obviously, this is spoiler territory for Alex Katz, so he should not read beyond this point.

In an interview with Cine Premiere Mexico, art director Andrew Ackland-Snow said that the scene where Snape dies has been changed from a very quiet, intimate moment to…something else entirely. “We made a crystal house, and you can see what happens in the boat house from there – Are you listening Harry? -, but also the school is in flames…” This just sounds way too busy for me. But as long as the flashback isn’t tainted by awfulness, I’m a happy camper. What do the readers think, though?
