Jay Shaw’s Mondo poster for Rocky 3 is awesome

Jay Shaw designed a Rocky 3 poster for the Alamo Drafthouse’s Summer of 1982 film series. A team of scientists has analyzed this poster and found that it is in fact incredible and may not be of Earthly origin. It’s actually a lot like a Polish movie poster given how bizarre and how awesome the imagery is.

An 18″ X 24″ print may be available at the Drafthouse’s Rocky 3 screening this Friday, though Collider notes that the prints may not be done in time. Regardless, there will be a limited run of 270, so if you want one, be sure to check @MondoNews on Twitter for availability.

In the coming weeks you’ll be able to see Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, The Thing, E.T., Tron, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a free screening of The Dark Crystal, and the Aussie trash classic Escape 2000 (aka Turkey Shoot).
