By Six new pictures from next year’s John Carter surfaced over the holiday weekend, and they’ve seriously got me intrigued. I think I’m one of about fifty people that are legit psyched for this movie, partially because of my love for Edgar Rice Burroughs’s books and partially because it’s a movie from Andrew WALL-E Stanton. These pictures, which you’ll find in the gallery, show off Taylor Kitsch being all abs and swords, as well as some of the alien creatures John Carter encounters on Mars.
We get a look at Carter’s dog-like companion Woola, Tars Tarkas (Willem Defoe), and Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), a human-looking Martian. Because why not? I really cannot wait to see more from this movie. I’m hoping Disney doesn’t just ignore it in an already-crowded summer.
