Josh Gad will co-write Triplets, the sequel to Twins

A long while back we reported that there would be a sequel to Twins starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito, and Eddie Murphy. (Yeah, I know, I know. Just go with it.) We are somehow one step closer to Triplets being made. Perhaps the Mayans were right.

Josh Gad, star of Trey Parker & Matt Stone’s Broadway sensation The Book of Mormon, will co-write the film’s treatment with camera operator Ryan Dixon. Gad ended his run with The Book of Mormon in June of this year. In January, he’ll be seen on the forthcoming NBC show 1600 Penn, in which Bill Pullman plays the President of the United States again.

I know I’m counting my chickens and all, but I’m hoping that Quadruplets involves a huge talking catfish and Quintuplets never gets made.
