By Once again, we’ve got an awesome opportunity to our friends and neighbors living in Los Angeles. After the cut, we’ve got a code for Gofobo.com to catch an early, free screening of Alexander Payne’s new movie starring George Clooney, The Descendants. I had a chance to see this movie last week, and while you’ll be able to read my full review when the film releases for select theaters on November 16th, I’ll tell you right now that it’s a fantastic movie and a career performance for George Clooney. It’s heart-wrenching and hilarious and absolutely wonderful. If you’re going to be in LA for the screening on November 15th, I heartily recommend you go see it. As is the case with all of these Gofobo screenings, space is limited, so make sure to grab a pass early and also make sure you arrive at the theater at LEAST one hour before the screening starts. I usually get to these things an hour and a half early, as seating is first come, first serve
