Last day to see Don Hertzfeldt’s feature in NYC/Oregon

0

Attention New Yorkers and Oregonians: today is your last chance to catch Don Hertzfeldt’s It’s Such a Beautiful Day on the big screen. The film is showing at The IFC Center in NYC and the Bijou in Eugene. You may remember It’s a Beautiful Day going on a national tour earlier in the year. Our own Geoff Henao conducted an interview with Don Hertzfeldt back in February about the film.

The movie is actually three Hertzfeldt shorts put together: Everything Will Be OK (2006), I Am So Proud of You (2008), and It’s Such a Beautiful Day (2011). If you miss it on the big screen, you can still watch the films on the Don Hertzfeldt Volume 2: 2006-2011 DVD. The three shorts can be viewed individually or stitched together as the feature film.

It’s Such a Beautiful Day has plenty of fall dates ahead, including engagements in Tucson and Hartford later this month, as well as November dates in St. Louis, Denver, and Chicago. For a full list of theaters and cities, visit Bitter Films.
