By This is one of those projects that seems like it’s been in production limbo forever. The Cabin in the Woods was originally scheduled for a 2009 release, but then that got pushed back to 2010, then 2011, and now it’s officially set to be in theaters on April 13, 2012.
The movie was originally written by Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard, and the story supposedly deconstructs the typical “cabin in the woods” horror sub-genre. That sounds cool and all, but let’s face it, anything with Joss Whedon’s name attached to it, I’d see.
