OK, we’re all excited for Gone Girl, but how do we hold ourselves over for the next week before it comes out? The score. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross teamed back up with director David Fincher (they previous did The Social Network, which won them an Oscar) for this and it is, in my opinion, even better.
Reznor and Ross make scores for movies, not for listening so while you’re not going to kick back and let it flow like a John Williams score it is easy to hear the mastery. You can head over to NPR (get cultured!) to listen to the entire thing.
