Marvel moving forward with Inhumans

0

With Guardians of the Galaxy a record breaking hit, Marvel is feeling pretty damn good about their ability to take lesser known characters and turn them into awesome. That means that the long-ago-teased The Inhumans movie is now really rolling. Marvel has a screenplay it likes from Joe Robert Cole and, according to Collider, is actively shopping it to directors now.

This is the same approach they took with Guardians, in that a completed screenplay was brought to James Gunn who then tweaked it and made it his own. It’s a good approach that makes sure plot points in the Marvel cinematic universe stay together while directors can still be creative. Inhumans will also be considered part of the Marvel cinematic universe and we’d guess have an impact on whatever phase it gets rolled out in.

If you’re like me and have no idea about The Inhumans you can check out Marvel’s Wiki page, but they’re involved with the Kree and would most likely play out as a stand alone film, much like Guardians did. Are we ready for another team movie from Marvel? Yes. Are we ready for another one with Vin Diesel (he was teasing it earlier)? That’s the real question.
