Miranda July’s The Future trailer

It’s unfair that some people can be so ridiculously adorable. Miranda July is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. But not only is she super-cute, she’s a prolific artist and filmmaker. Her first feature-length film, You Me and Everyone We Know, was a hit amongst the underground, indie, artist and hipster communities. By the looks of the trailer for her sophomoric attempt, The Future, we should have another freaking-adorable July film on our hands this summer.

The synopsis of The Future is that it “tells the story of a thirty-something couple who, on deciding to adopt a stray cat, change their perspective on life, literally altering the course of time and testing their faith in each other and themselves.” You can check out the HD trailer for The Future at Apple, and see the poster for the film by clicking below. The Future is set premier at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
