By Consider me a hell of a lot more interested in Jon M. Chu’s upcoming Jem and the Holograms adaptation than I was before. After starting production and providing info on the main cast, the new movie is now more outrageously 80s than ever. Joining the film are Molly Ringwald (or known as “that” girl in every good 80s movie) and Juliette Lewis (or “that” badass in every good movie) in undisclosed roles.
While we have the main cast down, we still need Synergy (the band’s A.I.) or The Misfits. Please let the Misfits show up in this. I actually don’t care who these two are going to play since knowing that Molly Ringwald will be in a Jem and the Holograms movie (IN 2014) is enough to get me where I need to go.
