By Just when you thought that there couldn’t possibly be another reason to be insanely jealous of the West Coast, Mondo, a division of the revered Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, announced this morning that it is going to begin putting on Mondo Mystery Movies screenings in the movie capital of the world. Yes, Los Angeles, California.
The details about the venture are a bit scarce right now, but what we do know is that Mondo is putting together a series of Mystery Movies for New Beverly Cinema in LA, on October 7th, 8th, and 9th. The tickets will go on sale for these screenings on Tuesday, September 13th. Of course, what the movies will actually be will remain a mystery, though past Mondo Mystery Screenings in its hometown of Austin, Texas have included Akira and Jurassic Park. So … how much does a flight from O’Hare to LAX cost again?
