It turns out that Monsters University will be delayed to 2013 in favor of a newer, shinier Pixar franchise titled Reboot Ralph. According to JoBlo.com, Reboot Ralph is about a dejected has-been video game character trying to find relevancy in today’s video game world. Reboot Ralph was originally scheduled for a 2013 release, but Pixar decided to switch release dates and have Monsters University come out June 21, 2013 and Reboot Ralph come out November 12, 2012.
Those who were anxiously waiting for Mike & Sully’s shenanigans in alcohol abuse and keggers, I offer my sympathy. As a consolation, there’s an image of the logo they’ll be using for the movie in the gallery. That’s just as good, right? No? Oh well.
