Mother’s Day is fast approaching (this is your official Flixist reminder by the way) in the U.S. it’s this Sunday, May 12th. Did you forget? Because Pixar certainly hasn’t. To continue their tradition from last year when the studio released a Mother’s Day promo featuring Brave, this year they’ve created a Mother’s Day promo video for Monster’s University, their upcoming prequel to Monsters Inc.
Why all this attention on moms? Well, as Pixar I’m sure well knows, if you get in good with the mom, they’ll take the kids to go see your silly, if predictable movie.
