Morgan Freeman chuckles good-naturedly in ‘Dolphin Tale 2’ trailer

That’s right! Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr are BACK in Dolphin Tale 2, the long awaited sequel to 2011’s beloved Dolphin Tale! …Yeah, I don’t remember Dolphin Tale either, but this trailer looks so saccharinely sweet and Harry Connick Jr looks so funny running with a baby dolphin in his arms that part of me kind of wants to see this. Also, Morgan Freeman delivers the amazing line, “I LOVE THAT FISH!”

If you can’t tell by all the dolphin references above, Dolphin Tale 2 follows the ongoing story of Winter the dolphin and the young boy (Zachary Gordon) who saves him. 

Dolphin Tale 2 swims into theaters (and our hearts) September 19th.
