Moss getting an awesome two-disc Special Edition DVD

If you don’t know (and, let’s be honest, you probably don’t), Moss is a Korean movie directed by Kang Woo-suk, and it’s really, really good. It’s been available on Netflix Instant for a while now, but I’m one of those people who still really likes having physical things. And special features. I like those too. So lucky for me, 5 Points Pictures has seen it fit to put out a special edition DVD of Moss, with bonus features and, even more exciting, a new translation.

Most of the Korean films I see and review (especially if they aren’t getting a wide release) have at least a few moments where I wonder if anyone proofread the subtitles, and Moss was no exception. So the idea of a new translation excites me greatly. For all I know, it will be like seeing a completely different movie.

Unfortunately, it’s not being released until August, but at least it gives me something to look forward to.

More information and the official press release can be found after the jump.
