The hype machine is just going to keep ratcheting up as July 20th approaches and The Dark Knight Rises hits. Earlier in the week we had the new Dark Knight Rises footage shown at the MTV Movie Awards, and the recent TV spot above notes that advanced tickets go on sale Monday, June 11th. This includes tix for the Dark Knight marathon, an all-day Nolan trilogy hullabaloo where you can get your Batman on. If I am not broke on Monday and can get online in time, I will do it.
Joining the above TV spot are some new images of Tom Hardy as Bane (and what I look like shirtless), Anne Hathaway as Catwoman (and all my prurient thoughts), Marion Cottillard as Miranda Tate (a likely story), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake (I don’t have a comical aside for this). These are all scans from The Dark Knight Rises: The Secret Files Scrap Book, which is available in stores now.
