A second TV spot has showed up for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It’s a nice companion piece to the first Hobbit TV spot, though in this one we get to see some talking trolls. This makes me wonder if any of the trolls in the Lord of the Rings trilogy were able to talk at all, and if they ever at any moment pleaded sadly for their lives before being done in by Gandalf the Grey, the Riders of Rohan, or Legolas the Flaxen-Haired and Totally Dreamy.
They should tie these hungry trolls into an ad for Denny’s Hobbit-themed menu. The trolls could each order a different item, down it, and then club and devour the elderly/infirm around them who simply wanted to enjoy their Moons Over My Hammy in peace.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey walks into theaters on December 14th, 2012. Advanced tickets go on sale November 7th.
