By A new Hunger Games image has been released through Entertainment Weekly to mark the announcement that tickets will be available to book from February 22nd, one month in advance of the movie’s official release date on March 23rd. As the press release puts it:
Lionsgate announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated film THE HUNGER GAMES will go on advance sale on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. The film takes place during the 74th Annual Hunger Games, and today marks the celebration of 74 days until the film’s release, another milestone in the countdown to release following the successful #HungerGames100 Poster reveal across 100 websites on December 15.
Ah, yes, that magical 74 day milestone: it’s like Christmas all over again. Moving immediately on, the new image shows protagonists Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in their training gear, looking all concerned and, presumably, hungry. Am I getting this right?
