By We’ve got some good stuff this week. Tron: Legacy and all its sequel-teasing goodness is out (check out Alex’s review of the D-Box Experience version, which is quite possibly my favorite piece of movie journalism to date), and Disney finally ended their stupid embargo on the original Tron, so all you Tron fans can now watch both back-to-back in glorious high-definition. Also, Jim Carrey/Ewan McGregor shippers get their dream come true in I Love You Phillip Morris, Narnia nerds get the next installment in the original Young Adult franchise with The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (out on Friday, for whatever reason), and Little Fockers is also a movie that is out this week.
It’s also another great week for Blu-rays, even better than last week, in fact. Aside from Tron, we’ve got A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, Arthur & Arthur 2, Babe, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Benny and Joon, Jawbreaker, Lars and the Real Girl, The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Rules of Attraction, and Taxi Driver, all of which are staples in my library for one reason or another (A.I. for one of the most jarring and terrifying scenes in a ‘kids’ movie ever).
